This is a heartfelt thank you from Gary and me for a wonderful, life changing tour of the Holy Land. What a tremendous job you both do. Our expectations were completely exceeded. You all made the travel part so easy but more importantly you imparted God's word to us.
From now on, I/we will always think of where we were, what we touched and what we heard when reading the Bible, hearing songs or hearing sermons. It is still hard for me to believe the many places we visited; that I walked where Jesus walked and that I walked where David the shepherd boy slayed Goliath. There are so many precious memories. I am working on framing the vows we renewed as a married couple at Cana with a picture and I also need to frame the photo I got of the shepherd.
Thank you for the time, work and sacrifice you and your families gave.
Blessings to you,
Joy & Gary McBride

The opportunity to journey to the Holy Land was before me and without hesitation; I knew that it was God’s will for me to accept in 2010 and a life changing trip it was. Together, my Dad and I signed up in the foyer of HFCN. ( Being a witness to the growth of my father’s relationship with Jesus as we have made this journey together is one of God’s precious gifts!)
The Holy Land Discipleship has strengthened my passion for Christ and made my steps stronger. I have been able to use the stories from the Holy Land as a way to share my love for Christ in both my personal and professional life. Walking where Jesus walked, praying where Jesus prayed, weeping where so many wept, and being still where Christ was still….It must be as close to Heaven as you can get. The peace and presence of Jesus with you 24/7 in what you see, hear, smell, touch and taste is unlike any experience that I have ever had. He is always with us, but in walking the journey and tracing many of the very steps that he took, it added an indescribable dimension to my life. Building so many new relationships and receiving so much JOY in observing others as they have journeyed through the Holy Land has also been a beautiful part of the experience. Thankful to God for sending his Son to Earth and forever grateful to Steve Thigpen and Pastor Kerry for making this precious and life changing experience possible.

“There is not a better trip to the Holy Land than a Hearts Aflame Discipleship Journey. Why? Because the two leaders, Kerry and Steve, have personally met the One whose life we trace in Israel! The four trips I was on with them were all wonderful. You will never be the same or read the Bible in the same way, having been and walked where Jesus walked.”
